Early Saturday morning we joined 24 other adventurous drivers and passengers in Novato and headed up the coast on our first road trip with Lucy Cate – a three-day event through the land of giants. The key stop for the first day was the Point Arena Lighthouse Museum with lunch in Mendocino. Day two was all about seeing the giant redwoods along the Avenue of the Giants, Lady Bird Johnson Grove, and Big Tree Wayside. Day three the group made more stops to see the Redwoods before a wild ride over highway 36 to Red Bluff. Here, we made our separate ways to head home.
